Recreational Pursuits ( available at all branches )

Recreational pursuits provide a complimentary balance to our other work based activities. These include horse riding, performing arts, sports activities, swimming, keep-fit, community visits to places of interest and local countryside walks that allow appreciation of our local environment. Local leisure facilities and orgainisations are accessed in the community during these activities.

Accredited courses ( available at Newcastle and Consett )

We run accredited courses that are provided to us by a training facilitator. The credit based courses allow our service-users to work towards achieving qualifications in various units and gaining a nationally recognised award by NOCN (National Open College Network). The courses have successfully been running now for 5 years and more are planned in the future.
